Hi everyone!

My name is Síomha, and I'm raising money to go to Cambodia for five weeks this summer to teach English to children in a free community school in Siem Reap. I am a first year medical student and I'm taking part in this project with University College Dublin's Volunteer Overseas group.

MOEI is a project established by the University of Hong Kong in 2008 to provide intensive English-language education for migrant children and adults from Burma located along the Moei River section of the Thai-Burma border.

To fundraise, I will climb the highest peak in each province in Ireland!

All volunteers must raise a minimum of €1,850. I need to raise the first €900 by March 31st!

€1,750: Partner programmes/project costs, incl. accommodation, local transport, airport collection, food, water etc.

€100: UCDVO programme administration (third-party liability and overseas travel insurance, health and safety, monitoring and evaluation).

No donations go towards the cost of flights or vaccinations, which I will pay for myself.

Any funds raised in excess of €1,850 must be allocated towards the running of UCDVO's programmes (e.g. building schools) and cannot be used for my personal use.
