About us
We are current trainee firefighters for Greater Manchester fire and rescue Service. Some of our squads have decided to enlist in the Uk’s ultimate mud run, Born Survivor. We will be testing our nerve and battling our way through 30 military grade obstacles.

We have decided that we want to do it for a reason and to help make a difference. We are going to raise and donate money for The Firefighters Charity, a charity that not only works across Greater Manchester but works across the country to help all serving and retired members of the Uk’s fire family. The Firefighters Charity is a charity that is close to so many people’s lives helping them in possibly the lowest point of their lives. This charity and its facilities are solely funded by public donations, and we are determined to help them to continue to help firefighters, children involved in fires and their families with the support and help they need.

About Fire Fighters Charity
For over 80 years, Fire Fighters Charity has been here for the whole of the UK Fire and Rescue Service community.
The charity provides expert care, wellbeing support, practical support and information and advice whenever a member of the fire family may need help with their physical or mental health and wellbeing.
The charity is independent of the fire service and has caring and skilled staff who understand the unique needs of the fire family. Fire Fighters Charity’s range of care, support and advice is offered in confidence, in-person, online or by telephone – all through self-referral.

How Fire Fighters Charity can help
Fire service personnel can face significant pressures every day – whether attending incidents, taking calls or supporting frontline teams – so prioritising their health and wellbeing throughout their life is vitally important.
And that’s where the charity can help.
Whether it’s stress or anxiety – either due to circumstances at work or at home – an injury or illness, or the need to access benefits or financial support, the charity has a huge range of health and wellbeing services on offer.

Alongside The Fire Fighters charity we will also be donating money to Operation Florian and The Burns camp. Helping promote protection of life amongst communities in need and providing support and rehabilitation for burned and scald injured children and their families, as well as prevention and awareness campaigns for which there is no national funding.

Finally
With your help we are aiming to raise as much as we can and spread awareness of the importance and incredible impact these charity's have!

Help us prepare for battle :)
