Ubuntu Organization

The Ubuntu Organisation was created by local professionals, in order to identify and address the difficulties that arise within our local community.

Many people are experiencing hardships with the current circumstances of the global pandemic. Families are losing their income, parents are going without in order to make ends meet, and many children do not have the means to continue their studies at home. The truth is, that some people are experiencing these difficulties for the first time, but, for many, this is more of the same.

The pandemic has brought to light the existing issues within our community, and we can see that there is little to no help. Some examples being, the restriction of free school meals throughout the holiday periods, and the limited access to COVID-19 funds, for working individuals afflicted with the virus.

We understand that times are hard and with Christmas around the corner, now is the perfect time to start a continued and collective effort, to give back to our community.

Our goals:

- To provide food donations
- Help those in need, by giving necessity packs, i.e. hygiene, food parcels etc.
- Extend a hand to the homeless
- Help to give a child a gift for Christmas
- Help local people gain employment

"I am because we are" "We aspire to inspire"
