My African Adventure

Hi , my name is Aimee I am 13 years old and in May 2025 I am really excited to be travelling with African Adventures to Kenya. I will be going with a group from my school to volunteer at a partner school in Kenya which provides free education to disadvantaged children in communities with low incomes.

African Adventures is a registered charity and award winning social enterprise who support a number of schools across Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar.

The money I raise will be used to pay for the costs involved in attending this trip such as travel and accommodation.

I decided to sign up to participate in the trip because I believe it will be a life-changing experience, offering a chance to explore and understand a completely different part of the world while helping those that need it.

As part of my trip, I will be supporting with teaching and coaching of sports and/or building work, which could include molding bricks, building and painting new classrooms, toilet blocks, perimeter fences etc., all of which is much needed infrastructure for these schools.
