Hey everyone, My name’s Mohammad Hammd ad Palestinian from Gaza, and I’m a biology teacher from Gaza. Right now, life here is beyond hard. The war turned everything upside down for me and my family. I used to teach my students online, but my phone—my only way to reach them—broke. I simply can’t afford a new one. I’m the only provider for my family. My mother suffers from chronic illnesses—high blood pressure, heart problems, and diabetes. She needs special medicine, but now it’s insanely expensive, like crazy high prices, and sometimes we can’t even find it. Her teeth are also in terrible shape, she’s in constant pain, but we just don’t have the money for treatment. And it’s not just that. Prices here are out of control. Everything became so expensive it’s impossible for normal people to buy anything. We’re literally struggling with malnutrition. For the past two months, we haven’t been able to buy any vegetables. We survive on canned beans and lentils, but even those are almost finished. We feel weak, dizzy, just from not having enough proper food. Before all this, me and my sister Doaa had a small strawberry farm. It was our little project to help cover basic needs. But the war destroyed it. We lost our only source of income. I even had a signed work contract in Kuwait. I was supposed to go there for a job, but the border closures stopped everything. That opportunity is now gone too. Right now, we’re facing a real disaster. No income, no food, no meds. We honestly don’t know how we’ll survive the coming weeks. So I’m reaching out to you all, asking for help. Any support you can give will make a huge difference. It’ll help me get a phone so I can go back to teaching, get my mom the meds and dental care she desperately needs, and help my family survive.
