Why We Need Your Help

My name is Mahmoud, a Palestinian living in Turkey due to the war in Gaza.

I’m reaching out on behalf of my family — not numbers, but real people: a father, a mother, and two brothers trying to survive with dignity amid hunger and siege.

My father, Hatem, was a university lecturer paid hourly, but the war stopped everything.

My mother, a kindergarten teacher, also lost her job due to the conflict. Today, her health is declining, and she sometimes longs for just “a little sugar.”

My brother Jabr is an educated young man — a writer and teacher — now trapped in northern Gaza under inhumane conditions.

And my youngest brother Anwar used to dream of becoming a professional football player. Today, he cries from hunger.

Some days, the family can’t find a proper meal. On average, we need around 100 EUR every two days just for basic food and medicine.

Despite everything, we’re still holding on to hope — and asking you to be part of it.
