Hello! My name is Zara Pinar, and I am raising funds to support my volunteer trip to Belize through UAlbany Medical Brigades. I recently earned my EMT certification, and this opportunity will allow me to apply my training and passion for healthcare while serving communities with limited access to medical resources.

Through this program, I will be working with fellow volunteers and medical professionals to provide basic healthcare services, health education, and preventative care to children and families in underprivileged areas. The mission of Medical Brigades is not only to address immediate medical needs but also to promote sustainable health practices that can benefit these communities long after our work is done.

Participating in this brigade will also help me grow as a healthcare professional by giving me hands-on experience in a global setting. It is an opportunity to broaden my understanding of healthcare disparities while dedicating my time and skills to those who need it most.
