We are officially on our life changing journey of international adoption. Adopting has been on our hearts for many years and we truly believe this is the Lord’s plan for our family. We are trusting Him with all aspects of this adventure. The greatest reason we are adopting is because of the Lord’s call to “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4
God brought us from the dominion of darkness into the Kingdom of Light when He chose us, adopted us as His sons and daughters. Our family’s pursuit of adopting the boy that the Lord has for us is our way of celebrating what our Savior sacrificed for us. And we pray that our little boy will know their Heavenly Father’s love the way Jonathan and I do.

We have a match with our little BOY. He has been diagnosed with Down syndrome and we cannot wait to bring him home and be his forever family. Please pray specifically for him as he is living in an institution (orphanage) in Bulgaria. We need to get OUR BOY home as quickly as possible!
International adoption costs around $40,000 on average. We plan to apply for grants as well as invest our savings, but we will still need help financially. That is why we have put our goal as $25,000.
