Open Adoption

There aren’t quite enough words or pages to express how excited we are to be able

to adopt. We tell anyone and everyone that will listen that we are starting our adoption

journey. While we have a biological child, Evelyn, we both have always wanted to adopt. Part

of being led to that decision was that the pregnancy was high risk and had a complicated

delivery, but the other part was that we just felt that God grabbed us by the heart to adopt.

Evelyn will make the best big sister one day and we’re excited to grow our family. We’re

blessed to have a big family/community that is also excited to welcome another child. Evelyn

is famous, we like to say, because everyone wants to love on her constantly, and her sibling

will be too. Loved beyond measure
