My mom got into a pretty serious car accident about a month ago. I've been quiet about it since she is mostly okay and recovering at home. Her car was totaled as it was hit by a truck - her car at a stop and the truck likely going 50-70 mph. I’ll spare you most details except that she got 26 staples in her head and has lingering concussion symptoms. If you know anything about long-term concussion side effects, you know it’s a confusing and complex thing to heal. She hasn’t been able to drive, hasn’t been able to work, and we’re unsure of how long this will be the case. My mom has worked incredibly hard her whole life, putting others first constantly. I would love to help her just a little.
