My name is Renee Meaux, and I'm asking for your help to save my friend Sara’s home. Five years ago, Sara and her husband Tim bought their home knowing it had previous foundation work done, but it was under warranty. Unfortunately, the issue Tim and Sara and their kids are facing now is a completely new foundation problem—one that isn’t covered.
When they moved in, the house already had 42 foundation pillars installed around the perimeter. Now, the structure has shifted again, and they need 11 new pillars inside the house to stabilize it. If they don’t fix it soon, they risk doors no longer working (this is already starting), broken pipes, and further damage.
Tim and Sara have consulted multiple foundation companies, engineers, their home warranty, and insurance—and there’s no coverage for this. The total cost for repairs is $19,500.
Tim and Sara have been in full-time ministry since 2009, dedicating their lives to helping others, but their income has always been modest, and they simply don’t have the financial means to cover these unexpected repairs.
The good news is that they’ve already raised $10,000, but they still need help to cover the remaining $9,500 in repair costs.
They even explored the option of moving, but discovered that even a small 2-bedroom rental would be more expensive than their current mortgage, making it an unsustainable option.
Every expert they’ve talked to has told them the best path forward is to fix their home.
This home is not just a place for Tim and Sara and their kids to live—it is the heart of their mission work. From here, they have been starting and overseeing Bible Schools all over Asia. This home is central to their ministry, and without it, they wouldn’t be able to continue their important work.
If you’re able to help in any way—whether it’s $10 or just sharing this with a friend—I would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit gets them closer to keeping their home safe and stable.
Thank you so much for reading, praying, and supporting them however you can!
P.S. Tim and Sara head up a non-profit starting youth groups, women’s discipleship groups, and Bible Schools in persecuted Asia. Any funds above and beyond what is needed for the repairs will further their mission (www.TrainTheNations.org).
