My name is Qasim a 20-year-old young man from Gaza. Just a short time ago, my biggest hopes were simple: to work hard, support my family, and build a life filled with dignity and purpose. But the war has taken almost everything from us.
During the violence, I was severely injured. My body still carries the pain and scars from those moments, and every day is a struggle to recover while living in extremely difficult conditions. The injuries have made it hard for me to work or provide for my family the way I once dreamed I would.
Today, the reality we face is heartbreaking. There are days when we simply do not know how we will find enough food to eat. Watching my family struggle with hunger and uncertainty is one of the most painful experiences I have ever faced. As the only one who hoped to support them, it hurts deeply to feel unable to protect them from this hardship.
Despite everything, I am holding on to hope. I believe that compassion still exists in the world, and that kind people may be willing to help us survive this difficult time.
Your support could help provide essential food, medical care for my injuries, and basic necessities for my family. Even the smallest act of kindness can bring relief, dignity, and hope back into our lives.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping my family during this incredibly difficult time. Your compassion could truly make the difference between despair and hope for us.
