HMNI Isaiah House Donations
Spende geschützt
Hi! My name is Sydney Fingerman. I founded HMNI to create social change through personal connection.
In 2017, I participated in a civil rights trip to Washington DC and had the privilege of listening to a lecture given by a Program Director at the National Coalition for the Homeless. He shared that he was homeless for many, many years and one of the most painful things was never hearing anyone call him by his name. HMNI is dedicated to helping create awareness around unhoused communities and always taking a moment to say, "HI MY NAME IS... what's your name?"
HI MY NAME IS has been leading a creative journaling workshop at Isaiah House, a provider of shelter, nourishment and support to Essex County, NJ’s most vulnerable families and individuals. This group activity takes place every other week to encourage residents to create, share and connect with each other. HMNI is curating a new, creative workroom for the residents of Isaiah House and we are looking for donations to help outfit the space appropriately with supplies and furniture. Might you consider helping us?
Thank you for your support and please follow our journey to create social change @himynameisorg.
