My name is Christopher, and I am writing to respectfully request assistance. My father is currently battling Rheumatoid Arthritis, COPD, and heart failure. His health has unfortunately confined him to bed, and his quality of life has significantly deteriorated over the past three years since he lost the ability to walk. I have taken on the responsibility of his care to prevent him from being placed in a nursing home, as I believe their standards have declined over time.

I would like to briefly introduce myself. I am fundamentally driven by philanthropic principles. However, I am not without self-interest, and I recognize my sole responsibility in preventing a decline in his quality of life.

The accompanying images feature my father, for whom I was able to secure an improved living arrangement through a strategic investment. He no longer has a significant need for items such as clothing, as they can impede his self-care routines. Due to his sensitive skin, he avoids abrasive fabrics. I have provided a photo of the bathroom situation to show the mechanics we were using to get him into a bath. However, recently he has refused to use the bath, stating he no longer thinks he can support himself to stand, which would include additional help of one to two people. This situation is quite foreseeable. The work involved is straightforward caretaking. While it can be demanding, with daily challenges, I am committed to exploring all available options to assist him.

However, I have come to understand that providing full-time care is an incredibly challenging endeavor, particularly when the circumstances can profoundly impact one's emotional and psychological well-being. I am seeking support to establish a stipend, which would enable me to dedicate myself fully to ensuring my father can live his remaining days with dignity and an improved quality of life.
