My name is Mae, I am 22 years of age and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my mother. Our childhood home, built by my grandfather in 1980, holds a lifetime of irreplaceable memories — our first steps, family birthdays, and countless celebrations. This house isn’t just bricks and mortar; it’s the heart of our family’s history, love, and laughter.

Sadly, we now face a heartbreaking situation. After Pop passed away two years ago without leaving a will, disputes have arisen within the family over the future of this home. We are seeking help with $20,000 in legal costs. Our solicitor initially advised that fees could be paid from the estate at settlement, but has since required funds upfront to continue. We are challenging the current estate arrangements, which we believe were granted under circumstances that were misleading and unfair. In our view, the process has not properly reflected Pop’s wishes or the rights of those closest to him.
