IVF Journey

Hi, my name is Megan. I am looking to help my sister Hannah and brother-in-law Austin in raising money to start their journey with IVF. They have been together 13 years and married 5 years. They have been trying to have a family of their own and after multiple miscarriage and failed IUI attempts they have decided that IVF would be the best option for them to have children they so badly want to have.  

In 2019, they decided to start trying to have a baby but didn't expect that in 2022 to still be with out a baby.  This journey hasn't been easy for them with lots of trying, testing, bloodwork, medications.  1 in 8 couples are having trouble getting or staying pregnant.  1/3 of infertility is unexplained.  Austin and Hannah have been diagnosed with UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY which means the doctors can’t find a reason for why Hannah is having trouble staying pregnant.

 

They are going through an IVF clinic based out of Colorado Springs, so they will have to take time out of work to travel to Colorado for the retrieval and then they have chosen to have a fresh transfer which will make them stay in Colorado for 3-5 days.

They are in the boat along with many other couples facing the same thing were their insurance doesn't cover any infertility related tests or treatments.  They have spent thousands of dollars on testing, blood work, IUIs, medications trying to grow their family.  They both won't ask for help financially so that is where I come into play and ask for some financial assistance in helping them afford IVF to have children they both so badly want to have. 

 

I decided to create a go fund me for any friends or family that would like to contribute towards their IVF journey. This has been an incredibly long journey for them. They appreciate all of the support more than you know.
