Help my sister find a home

My sister, a very giving individual, needs help. She has been struggling physically and financially for a long time. Despite all her hardships she took in her husband's young niece three years ago, who herself, has mental and emotional challenges and now her niece's father, her incapacitated, currently homeless, brother-in-law has moved in with them, with his own set of issues. Both her husband and her brother-in-law are medically incapable of holding a job. And most likely, her niece will not be able to work. They have been subsiding on her part-time salary, and whatever assistance they qualify for. None of them have health insurance yet have much need of medical help.
Her only car did not pass inspection and was beyond repair and now getting to work and appointments has become a challenge.
Outside of the little they receive in services, Kim has been the sole support of the family on her part-time wage. They have been renting a small house with one true bedroom that has never been maintained by the owner and needs more than a little TLC. She has dedicated the one tiny bedroom for her niece's use and has never complained of being burdened with the care of others because they are family.
They have recently learned that they must move. The house has been sold and may be torn down. She has worked very hard to qualify for a mortgage and grants to assist with the purchase of a home where they can all live together and each have their own bedroom .
But in order to move forward, they need $5,000 which she cannot save, given her circumstances.
They just need a leg up to get them started. She literally has nothing. I just want to see her given another chance at a decent home life.
