Help Rebuild a Loving Home After Hurricane Helene

Heartbroken is a word we’ve used so much the last couple of days. We are the children of Nancy and Ken Lietz and we’re raising money for our parents whose home and things were destroyed in Hurricane Helene. For those that know them, they would never ask for help, but we know it’s needed more than ever. Not a single personal item (things like beds, furniture, clothes and more) in their home will be covered by insurance. They truly are starting over from scratch. This place was so much more than a home to them, it was a place everyone gathered and always felt safe and no one ever went hungry. Holidays, birthdays, weekends, it didn’t matter our parents always welcomed friends and family. They were the hosts that made you feel like an instant member of our family no questions asked. It was a home to so many of us and they were the focal point of it. They spent so much time making this home an oasis and in a matter of 12hrs it is all gone. We are in good spirits because they are safe but the process is already taking a toll.

Any amount helps and know they will forever be grateful! They do not even know we did this because they never want to put a burden on others. They do so much for everyone else, we want them to know others can do for them.

This is to help them re-build their slice of paradise that was always open to family and friends..
