Help Reunite a Mother with Her Twin Boys

I need your help! Imagine if someone took your children and you didn’t know where they were for 2.5 years!?! That’s what happened to me! I’m a single mother of 6 children, trying everything I know to raise them in a loving, healthy environment. But 2.5 years ago, after leaving my then 3.5 year old twin boys with their father (per the court-ordered custody arrangement), he moved without my knowledge. I have spent those years tirelessly searching for my sons, finally locating them a few months ago.

After petitioning the court, the father was found in contempt and ordered to serve 30 days in jail. He will be released soon, and I am very fearful that he will flee with my sons again. I scraped together the funds for a consultation with a local attorney, and he agrees that I have a very strong reason to be afraid AND he encouraged me to request further court intervention to modify the custody order. However, in our County, the state does NOT provide any free legal help for custody cases. Therefore, I must raise $5000-$10,000 to fight this legal battle with the Attorney’s help; and the clock is ticking!

I am determined to protect my children and provide for their needs. I work fulltime, but struggle to make ends meet. This journey has been difficult, and I have overcome many challenges. Through it all, I try my hardest to maintain a positive attitude and remain steadfast in my faith. I have given my life to Christ – HE is my source of strength and hope! I feel He has led me to reach out to others to share my need and ask for your help.

I have poured every ounce of love and energy into my children, they all get great grades in school, are well-mannered, happy children.
