My name is Isabelle, and I am a 12-year-old student at Tiverton High School. I am looking to raise £3000 for a life-changing group volunteer trip to Kenya in the summer of 2026, which help me pay for the trip, visas and vaccinations needed.

Once in Kenya we will be working with teachers to deliver sports lessons and help support small groups of students with their work at local schools that lack many of the facilities that people in the UK take for granted. We will also be involved with the construction and renovation of classrooms, kitchens, toilets, walls offices and assembly halls at schools where we support local builders.

I am writing to ask you to support me and African Adventures, who work with 29 partner schools in developing areas of Ghana, Kenya and Africa. Just a small donation can help me reach my goal.

There are four core challenges facing the partner schools which are; overcrowded classrooms, lack of resources, inadequate facilities and food security. In Kenya African Adventures work with 12 schools based in Nakuru, Kenya’s fourth-largest city. Without these schools, it is unlikely that some local children would receive an education at all, due to the costs of items such as uniforms, desks and textbooks. They are working with the schools to bridge this educational gap.

Your donation will go towards covering the cost of the trip, visas and vaccinations that I need. I will also be taking an extra suitcase with clothes and school supplies for the students at the school we visit. If I am successful enough to raise more than my target these funds will go to the African Adventures Foundation who donate 100% to their partner schools.
