I believe many of you know Marty, the veteran who lives in the white van next to the Shell gas station on Rancho Parkway. I’ve known him for a couple of years and he does a lot of yard work for my neighbor. We are trying to help Marty out and he has asked that I start a GoFundMe page to raise $2300 to help him pay off a DUI ticket he got in Tennessee 20 years ago. He is in the process of getting his California driver’s license and the CA DMV is holding that license until the TN fine is paid off. You are more than welcome to ask him about this endeavor. My name is Becky and he will confirm that he asked me for his help with this. Or give him the money directly. I know so many of us are in tough times and maybe even living without that second paycheck. Anything you can give would be so very appreciated.
