Hello! I am Matthew Lambiaso from Boy Scout Troop 277 in Kinnelon & Butler New Jersey. For my eagle scout project, I will be reconstructing the outdoor steps to a campsite & campfire area at The New Weis Center in Ringwood, NJ. I am launching this Gofundme campaign to help raise funds to cover the cost of materials. All funds collected will go towards the project and any money left over will be donated directly to The New Weis Center.

The entrance pathway currently has old steps that have degraded over time and are not level or straight. My project would remove the old, narrow steps and put in a new set of level and wider steps for improved access to the area. This project will also increase the safety and attractiveness of the pathway, which is the sole access point for this camping & campfire area. Community members who will benefit include Scouts, schools, and other groups and visitors attending programs or camping at The New Weis Center.
