Tylor needs new teeth, and our help getting them.

Hi everyone! I'm Angela, and I'm starting this GoFundMe on behalf of our friend Tylor.

Earlier this year, Tylor took a serious fall that resulted in the loss of most of his front teeth (and then some). The fix isn’t simple — it requires extensive dental surgery that’s largely ineligible for coverage. He’s managed to cover most of the costs up to this point, but the final procedures needed to bring him back to full working order are financially out of reach as a freelancer.

Tylor is one of the greatest humans we know. A wildly talented creative who gives generously of himself in both work and friendship. He’s been toughing it out, but this surgery is crucial. It’s time for us, as his friends, peers, and wider community, to rally behind him and help get our guy back to eating, speaking, and smiling again.

Hi y’all! In early March I took a big spill and smashed up my 4 front teeth quite badly. 3 were cracked in half and needed to be repaired, and one of my front teeth was completely broken up and had to be extracted. A few weeks after that it turned out my remaining front tooth also needed a root canal :(. I’ve been able to pay for all the dental work up until this point but I still have the big final boss operation to replace my tooth with a permanent implant and reinforce the others with a bridge that I’ve been putting off due to lack of funds.

Unfortunately this all costs a lot and as a freelancer, I don’t have any insurance. I’m also not currently eligible for the upcoming government dental coverage. I’m needing to get this operation done asap on my dentists orders to make sure my teeth don’t get any more mangled.

I’m hoping to reach out to my community and ask for any help, no matter how big or small, to get my teeth fixed up so I can smile properly again (and chew)

Ps. Full disclosure - While this was an accident, it was an accident that occurred as the result of substance use. I don’t want to ask for help without relaying that this was a contributing factor. I’m now working on recovery and this would be a great addition to the journey!
