Hello,
My name is Jaye Rogers, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Tyler Lawrence, whose life changed in an instant but whose spirit remains unbreakable. Tyler is an adventurous, kind-hearted, sweet, intelligent man who now faces the challenges of living with quadriplegia after an unfortunate tragedy. Despite the immense obstacles he faces daily, Tyler continues to inspire everyone around him with his resilience, courage, and unwavering optimism.
Before this life-altering event, Tyler was known for his independence and love for the outdoors. Now, his world has shifted, and everyday tasks require specialized equipment, round-the-clock care, and significant financial resources that are extremely hard to manage.
We’ve started this GoFundMe to help Tyler, and our family, access the tools and support they need to live with dignity and independence. The funds raised will go directly toward:
• Accessible Home Modifications: Adapting Tyler’s living space, along our family homes, with ramps, widened doorways, wheelchair accessible showers, and other modifications to make our home safe and navigable.
• Adaptive Outdoor Equipment: Helping with the cost of an adaptive kayak, TrackChair for hiking, and even adaptive fishing gear for a lifetime of outdoor adventures.
• Medical Equipment: Covering the cost of a specialized wheelchair, assistive technology, and other devices to enhance mobility and communication.
• Ongoing Care and Therapy: Funding in-home care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy to improve their quality of life and maintain their health.
• Medical Expenses: Helping with medical bills, medications, care and treatments not covered by insurance.
Every day, Tyler faces his challenges with determination, but it will be difficult for our family to do this alone. Your support, no matter how big or small, will make a tangible difference in our lives. A small donation could contribute to essential equipment, and sharing this campaign could connect us with someone who can change Tyler’s future.
On behalf of Tyler and our family, thank you. Your generosity will not only provide practical support but also remind Tyler that he is surrounded by a community and friends that care. Together, we can help him reclaim his independence and continue to let his light shine!
With an overwhelming amount of gratitude,
Jaye Rogers and Family
