The Flores family is a huge part of our Mountaineer family. Antonio and Fernando are very involved in the athletic programs playing football and basketball for the Mountaineer . On December 29th, the Flores family tragically lost their home, cars and all personal belongings in a catastrophic house fire. They also lost their beloved dog, Manchas. The fire occurred while Fernando was at work and the rest of the family was at their oldest child’s, Fernando Jr., Mitchell High basketball game in Sylva. Due to this unforeseen tragedy, they have no belongings to their name and urgently need our help. We are reaching out to the community to ask for urgent assistance as they navigate this time of detrimental loss. We hope you will join us in supporting the Flores family as they rebuild their lives.
