Help Christine Reunite with Her Son

This gofundme is on behalf of Christine and her family. Christine has a 16 year old son who is still in the Philippines and has one son with her here in the States. As many know, Christine has had a very long and stressful year. This began with, Christine’s father falling ill, the medical hardships required Christine to send extra money to her family to help her father get the care he needed. Unfortunately, her father passed away in the Philippines. Christine had to use all her vacation time, she had to use extra unpaid days,  and she had to use a lot of money to help her family with the funeral arrangements. It cost a lot for her to be in her home country and mourn with her family and say goodbye to her father. 

While still mourning the passing of her father and being away from her family, Christine has been trying to expedite the process to get her 16y son back to her in the States. They have been apart for 10 years!!! It has been very hard for her to not be with him while he grows.

Trying to get through the immigration process is long and tedious. But now, Christine is in the final process of trying to get her son here, but she needs some help to do so. Here is the sum of what has to happen with her son: 

January- 

    1    Get a plane ticket from Bacolod to Manila (where the immigration processing takes place). 

    2    A hotel stay while they have the medical exam for her son. 

    3    They have to pay a fee for the medical exam.

    4    Pay for the flight back.

February- 

    1    Get a flight and hotel stay for the US embassy interview.

    2    Pay the embassy interview fee. 

    3    Then Christine will have to get him by May-

    1     She would have to buy a plane ticket back to the Philippines to go to counseling to get his visa stamp.

    2     And finally, a flight back to the states with her son! 

All of this is around $7,000. We love Christine! We can do this for Christine! She works full time AND works so much overtime to try and save for this. All while she is still caring for her youngest son who is with her in the US.

No one wants to see their child grow up through a phone screen with occasional visits. We can help reunite the family of a member of our VTS family! Anything will help, everything is appreciated!
