TXHR Husky Heart-A-Thon

Today is $3 Thursday!  This is a very special fundraiser...one near and dear to our hearts!  In honor of Valentine's Day, we'd love for each of you to donate $3 to help with the Heartworm Treatment of our TXHR huskies. It's so easy and affordable to prevent heartworm in our pets, yet so many huskies come into rescue heartworm positive. For each husky we rescue, a heart worm test is completed to determine their status...this test is $30 per husky. If the test is positive for heartworms, the treatment cost is $400 per husky. In 2018, TXHR rescued 22 huskies who were Heartworm Positive and needed expensive treatments.  Please consider donating today on $3 Thursday to help us with these costs!
