We need help moving

We're Claddah House, an LGBTQ+ family who have been together since 2007, and we have a major update. We've received a 90-day Notice Terminating Tenancy. So we're being evicted, a process that started back in February, Valentine's Day, to be exact. The Landlord's agent called to tell us that the landlord wanted us out in 2 months. Though afterth a couple of legal people, clerks, not lawyers we discovered that the landlord had to give us a 90-day notice before he can begin to evict us.

But there's a problem. Because we all have multiple physical and mental disabilities, we need help.

We are a family of 4 plus our dog, Gracie. I'm Cecile. I have osteoarthritis, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Being homeless is my worst fear, so this situation is tripping all my triggers.

My fiancé, Arthur, is the most physically fit of all of us, but not by much due to mild arthritis. He's my Personal Care Assistant (PCA).

Then there's Mark who's married to Deb. A trained cook, he can't work due to being disabled in an on-the-job injury, and it's gotten worse over the years.

And then there's Deb. She's my best friend and poly wife. She has the most problems. PTSD, AGORAPHOBIA (a fear of going outside of the house), depression, anxiety, and chronic pain issues in every joint in her body. Because of this she can not help with packing. And she was And shey put on medical marijuana to deal with the pain.

We're all on fixed incomes (SSI, SSDI, and retirement), so we don't, have enough money to move. We'll need first month's rent and security deposit - I'm figuring $2600 total for them. Then there are utility deposits, the cost of moving, and a hotel for Deb to stay because the agoraphobia and anxiety make her totally useless. (Her words not mine.) Because of our disabilities, the moving expenses need to include people to help us pack and actually move. We're estimating we'll need between $5500 to $6000.

Before I forget, there's our puppy, Gracie, a 13 year old Jack Russell who needs to see a vet. She hasn't gotten a rabies vaccination since 2014, plus she's developed a lump over her left hip. It doesn't seem to bother her when I manipulate it, so we're thinking it's not life threatening, but I'm not a vet so I have no idea how much we'll need. So, whatever you can do to help us all find a new home will be greatly appreciated and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. And Gracie sends puppy kisses.

Update: we've found a new home, but we need help moving.

On Dec 3rd we finally found a new home after 11 months of looking. And now we need help moving. I'm planning on renting a van from U-haul so we can move over boxes and other non-furniture stuff. Deb's case manager told her and Arthur that she could get us movers. But that offer came with conditions and those conditions only came to light only recently, so I'm not even sure movers are even going to happen, at least not through the case manager. So, with the apartment, we didn't get everything we wanted, but then no one ever does. The photos include 1) our back door, 2) the front of the building (the 2 lower windows on the far right are for our apartment which runs the length of the building), 3) the back of the building (the 2 windows to the right of the back door are our kitchen windows) , and 4 & 5) 2 views of the kitchen. It's a pretty big place and the layout is much better than the one we're moving out of. We wanted 4 bedrooms, we got 3. we wanted at least 1.5 bathrooms, we got 1. We wanted a dishwasher and a microwave included, we got the dishwasher, but no microwave. We wanted a zero-step entry, we got 5 steps in the back and 12 steps in front. There aren't any cabinets over the sink and counter, but there are cabinets and open shelves on the opposite wall.
