Hi, I’m Kailey and I created this GoFundMe for my friend James.

I met James during my first year at the University of Tampa but after that year, James had to unfortunately withdraw from the school due to financial difficulties yet still owes $26,000 in loans (which he is paying off himself).

When he returned home from school he eventually had to move houses and now lives in an apartment with his mom and younger siblings where James doesn’t even have a bedroom and sleeps on the couch.

He works at a minimum wage job 35-40 hours a week while still trying to obtain a degree. He is taking courses at community college while paying out of pocket on his own and also paying for his own bills around 1000$ a month. With all of these expenses, he barely has time to enjoy his 20’s which are supposed to be one of the best times of your life.

Recently, James car was crashed into and he received no money for it, now has no way to get around.

For a 20-year-old to have to struggle this much at already one of the most stressful times of our lives seems unfair and heartbreaking. He’s trying his best to stay on the right track but keeps getting pushed down by constant obstacles. I’m reaching out to this community hoping that this will move you enough to donate and help someone in serious need.
