Julian Shine, Paul Burley, Mark Rostron , Mark Tidman and Steve Blanks will embark on an exciting and challenging adventure when they take on this year's CARTEN cycle ride.

On the 10th May the team will cycle from Cardiff to Tenby, a 108 mile ride that will take them roughly 10 hours.

Julian, Paul and both Marks have been cycling for over 20 years whereas Steve started in October last year and only purchased his road bike at the end of March.

It's a test of endurance, mental strength, and determination however some might consider it a little crazy !

All five are members of Caerleon RFC with Julian, Mark, Paul and Mark members for many years watching their sons go through our Mini and Junior sections.

They aim to raise funds which will be split between supporting our Mini and Juniors and investing in the Club's future. Donations will go towards the Club's refurbishment fund, a project that the Club hopes to have finished by Summer 2026.
