Two Ukrainian families just arrived in Los Angeles

Donation protected
Meet Artem, Katerina, Leo (age 6), Alina and Oleksander!!! My husband and I got a call on Friday that two young Ukrainian families had arrived in the States and needed help. We met them today and they are lovely and full of optimism and appreciation. Happy to be safe and still stunned by what has happened to their lives and to their country.

They want to start a business, make a home, start new lives. Just imagine no credit cards, no social security numbers, no driver’s licenses, nothing. Just literally what you can carry.

The need is enormous and requires more than just money. If you have any expertise in immigration (fast track to a driver's license? fast track to a social security number? ideas on living arrangements? furniture? a car?) then please let us know.  Artem's business in Ukraine was retrofitting cars, vans, boats, party buses, so if you have connections in that world? Oleksander owned car washes, so if you have connections in that world? Let us know!

Please join us in supporting them with whatever you can and however you can.  We found it meaningful that on Passover, Easter and Ramadan, that they would arrive on our doorstep. Raise your hand and open your hearts ❤️❤️❤️
