We need Two Times The Help

Up until now being a C6 Quadriplegic and paralyzed from the mid chest down has been my biggest challenge to date. I truly believe that this will all change mid September 2017 when my wife gives birth to our twin boys. Yes, TWIN BOYS. OMG. I can't tell you how excited I am, but at the same time how nervous I am. My dream was to be hands-on and to be there to help my wife take care of these babies as much as I possibly can. But because of my injury, the first 4-6 months at the very least are going to be extremely hard on the both of us, especially because I can't help her like I could if I was able bodied.

From the bottom of my heart, I am reaching out to our friends, family and the community for a little help. We have spoken with a few able bodied parents of twins who have shared how difficult it is at the beginning even with help. So you can only imagine how much harder its going to be for my wife and I. The funds will go towards hiring a live-in nanny that will help my wife and I start this incredible journey with our sons as we figure out how to adapt our home, our routines and our lifestyle for our beautiful growing family. We are beyond excited for this life changing adventure and are so grateful for any help you can give to us.

And of course we can’t wait to introduce our boys to you all! We are surrounded by so many incredible people who we know will help us in many different ways for years to come!
