Sometimes tragedy strikes without warning, leaving devastation in its wake and forcing impossible choices. Recently, a woman lost everything when a devastating fire destroyed her apartment completely. With her home gone, she was forced to search for a new place to live and begin rebuilding her life from scratch. But heartbreak didn’t stop there.

Due to the severity of the damage and the limitations of her temporary housing, there was no way for her two small dogs to stay with her. She tried for a long time to find a solution- reaching out, searching for placement, doing everything she could. Unfortunately, circumstances left her with one of the hardest decisions of her life: asking a rescue for help. How could we say no?

One of the dogs was saved during the fire. The other was rescued afterward, found alive in the rubble of the burned apartment. Both dogs have endured trauma and now need medical care, safety, and time to heal. We are asking for your help so we can say yes to these two innocent lives.
