It happened again. Someone abandoned two newborn kittens outside our rescue and run away without saying a word. We know they were probably trying to help, but situations like this can quickly become life-or-death emergencies.

Newborn kittens require around-the-clock care from an experienced bottle-baby foster. Those fosters are incredibly rare, and we don’t have neonatal fosters waiting for emergencies like this.

Instead, we were suddenly thrown into a race against the clock, desperately scrambling to find someone qualified before it was too late. But how could we turn our backs on two helpless babies? Of course we couldn’t.
