My name is Tameeka, and I am fundraising for my beautiful mum, Lynette Fullgrabe — known to her friends as Murts.

My mum has spent her whole life playing sport, even competing at an elite level for many years. Sport has always been her passion, her joy, and the thing that made her feel most alive. But after decades of pushing through injuries, the pain has become overwhelming, and her body is now paying the price. She urgently needs two knee replacements.

On top of this, she has a 7 cm cyst sitting behind her knee, which could continue to grow or even burst, causing even more pain and complications. Every day tasks are becoming harder, and her mobility is now so limited that she struggles to do even the simplest things without discomfort.

These surgeries are not just about easing pain — they are about giving Mum a chance at a longer, healthier, happier life. With new knees, she will finally be able to enjoy the everyday moments she’s been missing, especially being active with her grandchildren and making the precious memories she deserves.
