Help Lou Rebuild Annie’s Tea Room. A Second Devastating Loss
Lou’s taken a hit. Then another. And now this.
On Sunday morning, a fire tore through Lodge Mill in Middleton and destroyed Annie’s Tea Room a place a lot of people know, love, and feel part of.
But this isn’t just about a business going up in flames.
Last year, Lou lost everything in a storage unit fire. Proper wiped out. Personal belongings, equipment, memories… gone. The lot.
Most people would struggle to come back from that.
Lou did.
He rebuilt. Started again. Put everything he had into Annie’s Tea Room creating something warm, welcoming, and properly part of the community.
And now… it’s gone again.
That’s two life resets in less than a year.
If you’ve ever been to Annie’s, you’ll know it wasn’t just somewhere to get a brew. It was a place people met, chatted, laughed, and felt comfortable. It mattered.
Lou’s not the type to ask for help. He just gets on with things, quietly building something good.
So we’re asking on his behalf.
We’re raising money to help Lou get back on his feet whether that’s rebuilding Annie’s, setting up somewhere new, or just giving him a bit of breathing space after everything he’s been through.
Every donation helps.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much.
Because sometimes people get knocked down once…
Lou’s been knocked down twice.
Let’s help him stand back up again.
❤️
