Donate to help two boys find their way

Milan was a healthy 33 year old single dad to 8 year old twin boys, who has been solo parenting since the boys were a few months old. He has had no other family or relatives for support. In April 2023 he suddenly collapsed and was rushed to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma (malignant brain tumour) .

He was given immediate life saving surgery to remove the tumour, and made an incredible recovery very quickly in order to be able to continue to care for his boys, who have learning and behavioural needs, whilst also undergoing intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy in order to prolong his life.

Unfortunately, it became clear that this treatment had not been successful and despite all of Milan’s hard work and positivity, the tumour had started to spread and regrow. Sadly, despite Milan’s wishes to spend this Christmas with his children, he was instead admitted into the hospital a week before, due to the extensive side effects of the tumour. Milan sadly passed away on the morning of 31st December 2023 .

We have set up this fund in order to raise money for Milans two young boys, Matthew and Rodney, who are going to need all the support they can get moving forward. They are extremely fortunate that they are going to be fostered by a close family friend who already has a fantastic relationship with them both. However, their foster carer is only 25 and this is a life changing step for her also. She has been incredible throughout this process and we would like to do all that we can to ensure that all of them are able to access the support they need. This money will help the boys receive any specialist support and counselling

they will need after losing their dad and to hopefully help support with some financial security for their future without their father. Also pay for the funeral for the family who have nothing.
