Hey everyone! My name is Wais, and I’m a one-man band, blending reggae feel with all your favorite old school songs. You’ve probably watched and wondered how I play my acoustic guitar, sing and play the drums with my feet at the same time, never taking a break. I can do it because I love music so much. Unfortunately, all those hours of continuous songs have added up - I officially wore out my gear.
People often tell me my shows feel like a mini vacation—**an escape from the noise, a chance to breathe, connect, and unwind.** That’s what I live for: creating music that brings people together and leaves them feeling better than when they arrived.
As a solo artist, I handle everything myself—writing, arranging, performing, recording, and mixing—and now I’m ready to take things to the next level with your support.
Why I’m Raising $18,000
In order to keep creating, performing, and sharing music at a higher level, I need to invest in upgraded equipment. My current setup is worn down and limiting what I can do both live and in the studio.
Here’s what your support will help fund:
* New instruments & gear (guitar, percussion, etc.)
* Studio-quality microphones and recording tools
* Production equipment (laptop, audio interface, monitors)
* Live performance setup (PA system, mixer, cables)
* Repairs & maintenance for existing gear
* Video & streaming equipment for high-quality online shows

A New Album Honoring the South Bay
One of the biggest reasons for this campaign is my upcoming **album inspired by the South Bay**—a musical love letter to the people, places, and energy of this community. The songs are rooted in the spirit of our coastal towns, with visuals to match.
I’ll also be producing a **music video filmed across iconic South Bay locations**—from the beach to the boardwalk, local bars to sunset spots—showcasing the area we all know and love.
If you’re from here, you’ll feel the nostalgia. If you’ve moved away, this project will feel like coming home.

Reaching Fans Near & Far with Live Streaming
Over the years, I’ve been lucky to connect with amazing people not just in South Bay, but all over the world. Many of you have since moved on—different cities, different time zones—but still reach out asking when the next show is happening.
That’s why I’m setting up a **professional live streaming setup**—so you can join the vibe from wherever you are. Your support will help me stream high-quality performances to fans everywhere, share behind-the-scenes content, and create a virtual version of that live, laid-back feeling my shows are known for.
No matter where you are in the world, I want you to still feel connected to the music and the South Bay energy we all love.

* Film a local music video celebrating our community
* Host free and ticketed performances around the South Bay
* Stream live shows for fans across the globe

Thank you for taking the time to read, support, and share. South Bay has been my home and my heartbeat, and I’m beyond excited to bring something special back to it—and out to the world.
