Help Celebrate Kaylynne & Madelyn’s Graduation

Hello, my name is Tina Radocha, and I am the proud mom of twin daughters, Kaylynne and Madelyn. This spring, they will graduate from Mahanoy Area School District’s Life Skills program—a milestone we once thought might never be possible.

Born at just 24 weeks as micro-preemies, our girls faced overwhelming odds. Doctors warned us they might not survive, and if they did, they would live with lifelong disabilities and medical challenges. But with the help of dedicated doctors, nurses, therapists, teachers—and by God’s grace—they not only survived, they thrived!

In recent years, however, both girls were diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular condition (SLC6A1). This has brought new challenges: regression of skills, more therapies, and uncertain long-term health outcomes.

On top of this, my husband became disabled ten years ago, leaving our family to manage on limited income. We’ve applied for many varieties of assistance, but are told we earn $64 too much to qualify! Our savings are long gone.

Now, as Kaylynne and Madelyn prepare for graduation, we face several significant expenses:

• Legal guardianship before they turn 18

• A special needs trust to protect their future benefits after we are gone

• Medical and therapy costs that continue to add up

• Senior year expenses (photos, graduation fees, class dues)
