UPDATE!
Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated for Emily and Rocky!
It has helped immensely and aided in keeping the parents close to the girls!
Their journey through NICU has helped the tiny tots grow and they are sitting at 3 pounds and 14 ounces and will be able to leave if they can go another 5 days without their stats going down and can continue to keep food down and breathe on their own. We're on the way to having them home!
The staff is still expecting the girls to stay for another two weeks in NICU and Mom and Dad are staying at a Ronald McDonald house until they can go home.
At this time, there is still their home back north that they are paying bills on and working on getting food stocked in the house for when they get home.
The money you have all donated has aided in the power bill, rent, gas, insurance, car payment, and food while they are still there!
Thanks to you, we have made it halfway to our goal and we are still hoping to make sure they come back home!
Mom is now receiving Maternity leave payments and Dad has filed for paternity leave.
This would have happened before all this but their unexpected arrival sort of dampened those plans. We are waiting for that to come through and they will be okay from there.
We ask that you please continue sharing this link with anyone who might still be able to help or can share to get the word out.

We enter the world with a cry of joy from our parents, and a breath from a baby.
To feel the joy two-fold with twins is indescribable.
This is the start of Rocky and Emily and their twin girls.
My sister and brother-in-law were blessed with the swift arrival of Kaitlyn Alice and Olivia Rose.
With their early arrival, however, the new parents have found themselves in a bind; both babies are in NICU at the hospital. Since the girls had their way and came before schedule, they are premie babies and are unable to leave until they can live it up at home.
This has left Mom and Dad stuck in the city, 100 miles from home, and only so much to go on.
They are staying near their children so they can bond with them in the little time they have but this isn't an easy feat. Though housing is being provided, food for new mom, dad is not able to work at this time due to caring for mom, is leaving bills to pile up and the family starting rough.
We have decided to take to the internet, in hopes that maybe the village that Mom and Dad have built together in their lives would be able to help them now and perhaps the kindness and generosity of those who understand or sympathize could potentially help them begin their brand new family without being broken down by the sudden early arrival of our tiny tots!
There is no gift too small and every little bit goes to Mom and Dad staying close to babies and bills that have accrued at home while they are away!
