This is an interesting fundraiser that was sparked by a extraordinarily compassionate 7 year old, my daughter Sydney. While in Target, Sydney looked at me and said 'I want to feed the hungry people dad.' I nearly cried and helped her pick out food items to make a basic meal that we could easily deliver to the hungry and less fortunate in the New Orleans area. We want to raise $5,000.00 so that we can continue to see Sydney's vision and compassion spread to everyone we can reach in the New Orleans area and, maybe one day, even nationally. Every penny will go to feed or clothe the hungry and less fortunate. Please find it in your heart to give to help end hunger and help the less fortunate and homeless get back on their feet. If for no other reason, give to let them know that someone cares about them regardless of their circumstances. Help these people feel human again. Help them feel love.
