As most of you know, Matt and Lynlee’s dogs are their world. Over the past week, their sweet Royal slowly started getting sicker and sicker. After 2 vet visits to their normal vet, they decided to take him to Gulf Coast because he wasn’t getting any better. They are thinking he has developed myasthenia gravis. They are still running test and blood work to confirm. He has developed aspiration pneumonia as a result and is no longer walking. He has been there for about 24 hours now and their Vet bill is already $7000. They are projecting he will need to stay 4-5 more days averaging around $2,000/day. They are actively trying to find another specialty vet to take him at a more suitable cost. Labs and test results are still pending and he can’t be transferred until they know what is wrong.

Royal is their first baby together and they will not stop until they figure out what is wrong with him and go through every option to help him. They have just welcomed their first human baby into this world 6 weeks ago and Lynlee is still on maternity leave.
