My name is Breanne Boeke and I have known The Marsh Family for over 20 years. I am hoping to raise money to help Carl (Marcie’s husband), and their daughters, Emma (age 4) and Alice (age 1) through this devastating time.
I met Marcie through Carl’s sister, Emily, and she and I hit it off right away. Marcie joined the UA MOPs (Moms Of Preschoolers) group that I am a part of and she made so many connections and lasting impressions on everyone she met. Since hearing of Marcie’s unexpected and tragic passing, our MOPs group has been brainstorming ideas of ways to help The Marsh Family. We want to be able to support the family in any way they choose, but we are hoping to raise funds for the following purposes:
- A trust for Emma and Alice (529, I-bonds, or however Carl chooses)
- A monthly cleaning service for the next 12 months
- A laundry service
- A scholarship fund to be made in Marcie’s memory at Hofstra Law School (where Marcie attended) in the area of child and family advocacy - an area of law that she was deeply passionate in
- Anything that Carl sees fit
