My daughter, her husband and their 4 kids were living in a house where the landlord didn’t take care of things that were deteriorating. When a neighbor moved in, he brought roaches, which caused a huge infestation in both apartments.

So, they were forced to end their lease, and finding something affordable in New Milford is impossible. They ended up at the Maple Leaf Motel, which for their sized family is $1,150 a week and they have been there since May 15th. That has severely depleted their money for finding suitable housing.

They have now found a place that will be ready September 1st, and the landlord is wanting the money by August, and the programs they thought would help them aren’t helping because they aren’t technically on the streets.

Please help them this is the absolute minimum amount they need to get back on their feet.
