Turning Hope Into Action for Suicide Prevention

Tax deductible

My name is Eric Bigger, and I am starting this fundraiser because I believe hope becomes real when people come together to help one another. Suicide and mental health touch too many lives, and I want to honor those affected by transforming grief and concern into concrete support. Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention means funding life-saving research, educating communities, and standing with survivors.

I am driven by the knowledge that every dollar helps create a culture that is smart about mental health. AFSP funds scientific research that leads to better prevention and treatment, educates people so they recognize signs and know how to respond, and advocates for policies that make care accessible. Their programs for survivors and those struggling provide comfort and connection when it matters most.

This fundraiser is a chance to reduce stigma and expand awareness so fewer families have to face the pain of losing someone to suicide. Whether someone has been personally affected or wants to stand in solidarity, our collective effort sends a powerful message: you are not alone and help is possible.

Please join me in supporting AFSP. Your donation helps save lives, supports grieving families, and moves us closer to a future where everyone has the resources and understanding they need. Give what you can and help turn hope into action.
