Three People. One Mission.
For years, addiction stole moments from our lives.
It stole birthdays, Trust, Peace in our homes.
And sometimes… hope.

But recovery gave us something back:
the chance to help other families feel less alone.

Meet The Team :
Dave Murphy - For over 25 years Dave battled severe alcohol addiction (triggered in part by surviving a stabbing in 1994 that left him with PTSD). He was nearly 400 lbs and drinking heavily while trying to be a dad. Sobriety changed everything, and now he and Amanda use their lived experience to help other families.

Amanda Panchuk - who has been in recovery for 16 and a half years, overcoming addiction, and rebuilding her life with courage and purpose. She is passionate about the idea of helping others by sharing her own personal experiences and believes in the heart and purpose of this project and the hope it will bring to families struggling with addiction. Dave and Amanda met through Dave's second book In the Heart of the forest"

Benjamin LeBrun, better known by his artist name Burger the Ripper, is a Montréal based rapper and writer. After spending years battling addiction and growing up surrounded by the generational effects of substance abuse, Benjamin ultimately broke the cycle and has remained sober for over 17 years., better known by his artist name Burger the Ripper, is a Montréal based rapper and writer. But this project is bigger than just books.

When the Clouds Come Home A gentle children’s book series for kids who love someone struggling with addiction.

In the Dad Version, young Liam and his dad share sunny days of forts, bikes, and belly laughs, until the “cloudy days” arrive.

In the Mom Version, Ellie and her mom dance in fuzzy socks and share pancake mornings… until the clouds roll in. Through honest conversations with a caring aunt or uncle, both children learn the same powerful truth:
Addiction is an illness — not their fault.
They can’t fix it.
They still deserve safe hugs, kind words, warm meals, and people who care.

Beautifully illustrated stories that show kids the sun is always behind the clouds. Hope, healing, and love can grow one day at a time.
Perfect for ages 4–9 and the grown-ups who love them.
