Let’s Help the Turners & their Twins!
Donation protected
The Turner family is about to grow from nine to eleven as they prepare to welcome twin girls! But this joyful time has also brought multiple unexpected challenges.
Heather, now 30 weeks pregnant, has been in and out of the hospital with severe pain and bleeding. Just this past week, she had to be rushed in for the third time after going into preterm labor. Doctors are doing everything they can to keep the babies safe and stop labor, so Heather has now been admitted and doctors are expecting her to remain in the hospital until the babies are born, with the hope of making it to 34 weeks.
While they are hoping for as much time as possible, the urgency of their situation is growing. What many don’t know is that Baby B will need spinal surgery at birth and possibly a shunt in her brain. After delivery, she will face a long and difficult medical journey at LeBonheur, requiring at least a two-week stay in the NICU and likely multiple surgeries.
This means the Turner family will be stretched thin financially, mentally, and emotionally—balancing hospital stays, postpartum recovery, caring for their other seven children, traveling between home and the NICU, and likely a long-term hotel stay for Heather to be near Baby B. Jeremy will be juggling full-time work and parenting the older kiddos while also caring for Heather and the twins. The costs of medical care, travel, lodging, meals, and everyday expenses are quickly adding up.
Anyone who knows Heather knows she is the sweetest, gentlest soul who never likes asking for help—but right now, she needs her village.
Let’s rally around them during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will help ease their burden so they can focus on what matters most—keeping Heather and the twins safe and together. If you can’t give, please share this and keep them in your prayers.
Thank you for supporting this beautiful family when they need it most!
