Turn Shaftesbury Park Playground Into a True Community Asset
Donation protected
Following our £500 fundraising Burnt Ash Primary School successfully applied to Bromley Council's Platinum Jubilee Parks Fund for £20,000 to improve Shaftesbury Park playground's facilities and the surrounding area to create a more welcoming and engaging place for all. We are now asking for a further £100 (after fees) to allow us to apply for a further £3k in funding in the New Year to add to the project.
We aim to replace some of the worn-out equipment with more inclusive, sensory options that cater to children of all abilities, spark imaginative play for younger children, and engage older primary school children and younger teenagers. We hope that this is the start of a multi-year partnership with Bromley Council to turn the playground and surrounding facilities into a true community asset for all ages. Please help us to achieve our goal and donate whatever you can - every penny raised will make a much needed difference.
