Our Dad. Nuestro Papa

For everyone that knows our dad, Marcelo, you all know how humble and selfless our dad has always been. For as long as we can remember he has never change his ways of being cheerful and loving. He always puts his family and friends before him and makes sure we have everything we need. All 4 of his grandkids love spending time with him and being their to play with him and run around. They call him Buelo. Since they we’re toddlers and barely began to speak and couldn’t pronounce abuelo or abuelito so Buelo stuck and has been like that ever since. As most of you know, our dad recently suffered a heart attack last Tuesday and has been in the hospital since then. Our mom has been at his side nonstop since then and will continue once he comes home. Unfortunately due to COVID his whole family has not been able to go and visit him and bring him more joy to get him home sooner. The doctors and staff at St. Joseph have been working nonstop to make sure our dad fights through this battle and can come home already be surrounded by his family and friends. They have also been keeping a close eye on his kidney which was our mom, and making sure it is still strong and kicking like our dad. He has been started on Dialysis to get fluid out of his lungs that have build up and have make it hard for him to breathe. He isn’t out of the woods yet but he will be soon enough with help from all his loved ones. Anything we are able to raise for our dad will go towards his medical care and will help him be comfortable at home while he recovers and gets back on his feet. We are so grateful for all the help we have already begun to receive during this difficult period. We can’t thank you all for keeping our dad in your thoughts and prayers. All we ask is to keep him in prayer and hope he can come home soon to his grandkids. We love you all ❤️ Marlene, Mariana and Adolfo
