These are some sample markers that have been looked at for the Tullamore Park Remembrance Marker. The final design has not been chosen. The marker will be grey granite (28x16) with an inscription on a bronze plated plaque (24x12). The marker will be 8 inches thick.
We shared some wonderful memories growing up at Tullamore playground. Although time, distance and life separate us, there will always be a special bond that exists from our special times, at a special place...Tullamore Playground!
We held a special Remembrance Ceremony at the
Tullamore Old-Timer's Day Reunion on
September 6, 2014.
It is now time to follow through and raise the funds to place a permanent marker at the garden site of our ceremony. We hope that you will be generous in your giving to support this endeavor.
Funds raised that exceed the cost of the marker will be used for the care and upkeep of ALL the memorials currently in place at Tullamore Playground.
